Every two years the gas industry of the Western Pacific holds an information exchange conference called GASEX. GASEX was originally established as a joint Japanese-Australian initiative about 20 years ago.The next GASEX will be held in Bali on 9-11 October 2012.
The Australian Gas Industry Trust is sponsoring six delegates to this year’s conference. I will be giving a report on Australian gas. Janette Moore from UHDE Shedden will be speaking on unconventional gas. Greg Ellis from Rinnai will be chairing a session on gas HSE and utilisation. There will also be three AGIT scholars: Adam Alderman from Worley Parsons, Ben Gliwa from Tenix Networks and Brett Lawrence from Apache Energy. These scholarshps are part of AGIT’s program of providing development opportunities to young professionals in the gas industry.
